Not exactly what i had in mind, but it's funny the mental images we get when we hear those words.
Our quest for catching big fish has usually led us in the direction of Carp or predator fishing for Pike.
To satisfy our lust for big fish angling, more and more fisheries are begining to cater for the angler with big fish in mind. More and more Carp anglers are reporting catches of Catfish whilst in their search for big Carp. These fish are like no other predator. A pure fighting machine.
This bottom feeding predator, looks like something from the deep lagoon, they have long dormant periods, but when they decide to feed, there is nothing they will not take. But there are certain baits they like more than others.
It has been said, that once you catch a Catfish and experience the pure intensity of this powerful fish, that there is nothing to match their sheer strength.
